What we collect
Your email address. That's it. We don't ask for your name, we don't buy data about you, and we don't track you around the internet.
What we do with it
We send you The Boise Pulse — three mornings a week — and nothing else. We never sell, rent, or share the subscriber list with anyone. If we ever run a sponsorship, the sponsor gets an ad slot in the email; they never get the list.
What our tools see
Two services process your email on our behalf: Resend (resend.com) delivers the newsletter and hosts the subscriber list, and Vercel (vercel.com) hosts this website and the signup form. Like most newsletters, our emails record standard delivery signals (whether an email was opened, which links were clicked) so we can tell which stories readers actually value. If you reply to an issue, your reply comes to our inbox like any normal email, and a human reads it.
How to leave
Every email has an unsubscribe link in the footer — one click, handled instantly and automatically, no guilt trip. If you also want your address deleted from our records entirely, reply to any issue and say so; we'll remove it from the list and from our backups within 30 days.
Questions
Reply to any issue of the newsletter — a real person reads every one. More about how the Pulse is made is on the about page.
